Terms of service

1. The service

MacroMove is an online health and fitness platform (PWA) for nutrition, training, weight, health and related features. The service is centrally hosted by MacroMove; you use our infrastructure, not a self-hosted installation.

MacroMove does not provide medical advice. Content and insights are informational only. Always consult a doctor or other qualified healthcare provider for health concerns.

2. Account and access

You are responsible for:

• Accurate registration details and keeping your credentials confidential.
• All activity under your account unless you promptly report unauthorised use.
• Keeping your contact details up to date so we can reach you.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use MacroMove to:

• Violate the law, others' rights or these terms.
• Disrupt the service, reverse-engineer where prohibited, or bypass security measures.
• Distribute malware, spam or misleading content.
• Run automated scraping or excessive load without permission.

4. Availability and changes

We aim for reliable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates or force majeure may cause temporary outages.

We may add, change or discontinue features. For material changes we will inform you where reasonable via the service or email.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of data you enter. You grant MacroMove a limited licence to process and store that data solely to provide the service, in line with our privacy policy.

6. Liability

For consumers in the EEA, MacroMove is liable for damage caused by intent or wilful recklessness, or for damage resulting in death or personal injury. For other damage our liability is limited to an amount that is reasonable in view of the nature of the service, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

MacroMove is not liable for indirect damage, lost profits or data loss where permitted by law.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via the privacy centre. We may suspend or terminate accounts for serious abuse or breach of these terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
